We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build and evolve the backend and platform services that power an AI-driven automotive platform.
This role focuses on backend-heavy, cloud-native development, with exposure to AI-enabled systems, APIs, and data flows. You will work across multiple services and languages, collaborating closely with AI/ML, Android, QA, DevOps, and Product teams.
While primarily backend-focused, the role requires full-stack awareness and a strong systems mindset.

Overall responsibilities and duties:
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs supporting AI-driven features
- Work with cloud-based architectures and distributed systems
- Implement reliable, scalable, and secure data and service integrations
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to support model integration and inference workflows
- Work with relational databases and SQL for data persistence and analytics needs
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture alignment
- Contribute to observability, performance tuning, and operational stability
- Support CI/CD, testing, and deployment processes in collaboration with DevOps
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong backend development experience in one or more languages:

- Solid experience with SQL and relational databases
- Experience building APIs and backend services in production environments
- Good understanding of distributed systems and service-based architectures
- Full-stack awareness with a clear backend emphasis
- Curiosity and interest in AI / ML concepts and systems
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Experience working in AI-enabled or data-intensive systems
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures or messaging systems
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in automotive, embedded, or platform environments
