We are seeking a strategic Partnership Manager to grow and strengthen our ecosystem within the Japanese automotive market, with a strong focus on Android Automotive content services.
In this role, you will define and execute a content services strategy tailored to Japan, building lasting relationships with OEMs, Content Service Providers, and key industry stakeholders. You will lead partnership discussions and negotiations, guide partners through technical integration and onboarding, and ensure collaborations translate into meaningful value for both our platform and our partners.
Working closely with sales, product, marketing, development, and finance teams, you will align partnership initiatives with broader business objectives while staying ahead of market trends across connected cars, EVs, in-vehicle entertainment, and mobility services.

Overall responsibilities and duties:
- Create a content services strategy for the Japanese automotive market with a focus on Android Automotive.
- Build, maintain, and nourish strong relationships with OEMs, Content Service Providers, and other key stakeholders in the Japanese market.
- Lead negotiations, develop partnership agreements, and ensure all contractual obligations align with company objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive landscapes to inform partnership strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and integration support to content partners, including Android app development, SDK usage, and compliance with platform requirements.
- Assist partners with onboarding and using internal dashboards, reporting tools, and content management systems to ensure smooth operations
- Work closely with internal teams including sales, product, marketing, product development, and finance to align partnership efforts with business goals.
- Stay updated on emerging trends such as electric vehicles (EVs), autonomous driving, connected cars, and in vehicle entertainment.
Qualifications:
- Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, software development, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience in partnership management, business development, or strategic alliances within the automotive and/or OTT services space.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful partnership strategies.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication, networking, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with experience in market research and data-driven decision-making.
- Understanding of content and services trends in Audio, Video, Gaming or location-based services related to mobility.
- Basic knowledge of Android app development and distribution processes is a plus.
- Fluent in Japanese and English(business-level).
- Willing to travel up to 40%.
