We are seeking a motivated Junior Program Manager to join our Lisbon-based team and help drive the successful delivery of innovative Android Automotive SaaS programs.

In this role, you will coordinate multiple concurrent initiatives focused on embedded Apps Market and app deployment within car infotainment systems. Acting as a key point of contact for clients during onboarding, implementation, and post-launch phases, you will work closely with development, QA, infrastructure, UX, and external partners to ensure seamless integrations and successful program outcomes.

From defining scope and timelines to tracking risks, deliverables, and stakeholder communication, you will support end-to-end program execution while contributing to best practices in project management within a fast-evolving automotive and cloud-connected ecosystem.

Overall responsibilities and duties: 

• Integrate into a dynamic Lisbon-based team of project managers and technical leaders within an automotive Android ecosystem. 

• Lead and manage multiple concurrent SaaS programs focused on Android Automotive solutions for embedded Apps Market & App deployment in car infotainment 

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients during onboarding, implementation, and post-launch stabilization. 

• Collaborate with internal development, QA, App delivery, infrastructure and UX teams to ensure customizations and integrations meet business requirements. 

• Coordinate with third-party vendors and partners to onboard external applications and ensure compatibility with our SaaS platform. 

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders. 

• Develop detailed project plans, manage timelines, track deliverables, and identify risks and mitigation strategies. 

• Ensure technical documentation, training materials, and handovers are completed for clients and internal support teams. 

• Provide regular updates to stakeholders through status reports, dashboards, and meetings. 

• Champion project management best practices and continuous improvement efforts. 

• Proactively identify risks and opportunities, ensuring effective risk management, escalation, and mitigation. 

 Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 

• Knowledge  in product and process engineering within software-driven environments. 

• understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies 

• Knowledge in budget control, financial tracking, and profit optimization. 

• understanding of software development lifecycles, particularly in Android-based and cloud-connected environments. 

• Hands-on experience with project and software management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Agile/Scrum frameworks, and Microsoft Teams. 

• Ability to build trusted relationships with customers and partner stakeholders. 

• Fluency in English is mandatory. 

• Formal project management training or certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile) is a plus. 

• Understanding of APIs, webhooks, SSO, and middleware integration patterns. 

• Understanding of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, MOST) is a plus.
